  | Abstract: | The perception component of the language faculty involves the motivation to search for the intentions and meanings of words, and the intentions and meanings of systematic changes in words, that is the grammar rules. This may be the hyperactive agency detection device seen as a reason for religion. The ubiquity of religion, the science quest, and the inevitability of conspiracy theories may all be manifestations of the urge of young children to understand the intention and meaning of an unknown new word. |
